Nuke by Core Labs X: the hardcore fat burner that also works as a pre-workout booster
The product name "Nuke", derived from "nuclear explosion", may sound rather martial in combination with the explosion cloud image on the packaging - but the product really hit the fitness scene like a bomb when it was launched. Nuke's list of ingredients includes DMHA (= 2-Aminoisoheptane HCL, an amphetamine-like variant of DMAA), higenamine (a substance that acts similarly to ephedrine) and halostachin (a plant alkaloid, also known as N-methylphenylethanolamine, which is also structurally similar to ephedrine). They all have a stimulating effect on the adrenergic system, i.e. they stimulate the release of adrenaline and noradrenaline. This creates a certain energized feeling, which is accompanied by a higher heart rate (= more energy) and better oxygen intake.
